Introducing Kevin Borillo

Hello, Hello, Hello!
                                                           About Me

I am one of the members of The Vern Show. My name as seen in the title is
Kevin Borillo. At the moment I am 20 years old, but I really don't feel that old, maybe more like 18. I've lived in Malvern, PA my entire life. Its a small quaint town, but its home to me.

The biggest hobby of mine is traveling! I absolutely love it. Just the thrill of being in new places where i'm not usually is the greatest feeling. Even just going to the other side of town to go on an adventure. I see everything new as an adventure. Whether it be looking for a secret room in my house to hanging out with Kangaroos in Australia.

I have three brothers. Alastair is the youngest at 13 years old. Than Aidan at 15. and finally Carrick who attends Kutztown University is 18. (In picture left to right: Me, Carrick, Alastair, and Aidan)

Am I normal?

To me I don't see myself as being 'Normal'. The exact time I broke away from normality still eludes me, but if I had to guess I would say my senior year of High School. I had the option of either running at Outdoor track states or going to prom like everyone else in my grade.

WELL....long story short I chose what I really wanted to do, and that was run my heart out at the state track meet. Yes, I didn't get to attend what was supposed to be what every high school student is excited for. (Prom) In the end I was happy with my decision.

Why does this relate to normality in any way? Because instead of following the norm and going to prom my senior year, I chose to go a different path, one that isn't well worn. And this made me truly happy.

What we are trying to show here is that you don't have to follow the normal path! Who cares if other people are not doing it. As the old saying goes, if all your friends were jumping off bridges would you?

When given a choice, choose whats right for you. Always choosing the 'Normal' way to go will just make you unhappy because you will KNOW where you are headed. Now that doesn't sound like fun, right? Next time you go to a restaurant and they offer you a soup of the day or daily special, break out of that normal pattern and TRY IT!!

Before I conclude I would like leave you with a quote.

“I see my path, but I don't know where it leads. Not knowing where I'm going is what inspires me to travel it.” (Rosalia de Castro)

It sums up everything.

I hope you enjoyed this segment.
Thanks for reading!
